Lubbock, Texas | unfortunately it is lawyers that have gotten in the way of that food being given to the hungry
it seems if there is not some type of payment for the food or if the food is not part of a pay agreement like "cooks get one free meal" then the liability insurance for the restaurant will not cover any type of illness ect. that might come if someone eats the food...I think it also has to do with actual employees of the restaurant serving it.....so it can't be taken to the food bank and then the food bank serves it....I also believe the "free meal" for the employee must be eaten on premises and not taken home after the shift | |
