| back after the flood of 1993 i think( i am no good at remembering dates), i was at a school ballgame the next winter and happened to strike up a conversation with a fella that ran a dozer at a landfill. he said after the flood had covered a national guard air base which keep a few c 130 airplanes, that the goverment sent every tool on the base to the landfill for disposal. he said that it made him sick to cover up very expensive tools that there was nothing wrong with. he said if they would caught him picking a tool up that he would have lost his job. the goverment replaced excellent tools with brand new stuff. i do not know how this nation has lasted this long. | |
