Subject: JD autosteer

Kind of new to this technology and am more interested in information, I will be using a 57' JD air drill next spring pulled by a 8330 and also want to be able to put it on a 2004 9220, I have always used Haukaas markers and I mark them 6 inches longer to give myself a tramline with our sprayer as it always double our drill size. The issue is our markers may not be able to be mounted to the new drill.. GPS and auto steer will be my only other alternative, is Starfire my best bet or not? I have 6 months to get it all figured out so got lots of time. Your responses are all appreciated. I do no yield mapping on the combine and both tractors are greenstar ready but neither have gps in them but are wired for it.
thanx Glen
