Chebanse, IL..... | Jason We have a 1790 16/32 planter. We don't have (nor did we want...) any variable drive. However, we still have the JD 300 seed monitor. To further confound things, we also have a Gandy Orbit Air to apply granular insecticide for CRW control. So, we've got more monitors than we want. But, I'm sure the AL Insight will control our Orbit Air in 2007 (controlled by a Raven 600 now). I do wish the Insight could read seed population. I believe I'm correct saying that is NOT actually possible at this time. However, I believe the Insight will control a Rawson rate controller without the use of the Rawson cab unit at this time. But in that case, you're not actually reading seed drop, you're actually only reading shaft rpms.. |
