Lander, WY
Some things I wish we had cable or satellite for...would like to see it.

I wish I would have spent more time talking to Grandma before she passed...she lived through it in NE Colorado, we still have sand drifts in places under the grass. After the 30's some of what Grandpa and Great Grandpa were farming was put back into grass. Fence posts in places are now only sticking up a foot or two...just build another fence over the top after the dust stopped blowing. I've seen what one open field can do in a wind storm around the place, I couldn't imagine south Kansas and the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles...

Grandparents lived a lot of years on bread and milk, creamed cabbage, rabbit...have heard stories of people gathering tumbleweeds out of fence lines, crushing them and putting salt on them so the cattle had something to eat...and people think they have it hard now...
