How do you estimate yield on corn that is 2 ft tall in the second week of July? Last year most of the corn was tasseled by now.
Secondly, it's not as much about yield as lost acres. Even the corn that was planted in April - May has big missing drowned out holes. They can add up pretty fast when 5 to 10 percent of a field is missing at harvest.
Lost acres would eventually equate to total yield. Which is what my question was. It doesn’t have to be a hard number, just a range? |
