Floyd County, Iowa | Not enough fall from road ditch to drainage ditch to deepen it, without a lift station, and that isn't going to happen.
I understand about the grass stopping soil loss- I seeded 60 ft buffer strips along both sides of the drainage ditch 12 years ago, about 2 miles worth.
I simply had a question about hay quality, as I raised hogs, and never had anything to do with hay, other than riding the rack and stacking it in the hay mows, helping others bale theirs.
