Kudos to you for simply caring about waterways. In my district, many guys just plant and spray right through them, thinking no-til is the savior. Many corn/bean utopia guys own a dirt scraper, fill it back in....repeat the next year. Really gotten pathetic around my area, nothing to see ruts so deep that you can put tractor tires in.
