Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | I get to feeling that way in late May/early June also. I usually get over it in time to go again next season, but every year I wonder if it’s really worth it. I get to feeling better when the beans are planted, spraying is done, and chopping checks come in.
The end of a weekend of fighting a metal detector isn’t really the right time to make your final decision about leaving custom chopping. Get some sleep now, wait for the checks to come in later, then decide.
