Northern CA | Obviously I don't know the details of your business. A thought that comes to mind is what is the blue sky value of the business. I do some custom hay and then then the majority of my acres are owned or leased.
If I were to quit, my customers could probably find a way to get their crop in. If I sold it to someone they didn't know or someone they did know, but didn't have trust in, they could hire someone else just as easily. I feel like what I do doesn't have much blue sky value and most of the value is in the equipment, which doesn't have to be sold to all one buyer. Now, if you were selling a McDonalds in the corner, blue sky value would be much much higher.
