Central Indiana | We used to custom harvest (cut, rake, bale) a lot of hay. I have never regretted quitting, but I would never discourage anyone from starting. I think it had its place for us, but it starting costing more (family time, and financially), than it was worth. I let my customers know we were quitting at the last cutting for the year. I figured they had until the next spring to find someone else. Amazing how quickly some went from ungrateful, to almost begging to keep us doing it. A few still had no one lined up the next spring. I was content with our decision. Life is too short. Life has seasons, good luck with your decision | |
