| I don't have much help for you other than it happens to all of us.
I go burned out on baling hay and moved on to trucking. The hay baler went as far from home as I could it. Never missed the baler.
When I got burned out on the trucks I figured I could put the money in the bank at 5% and make the same money. I sold the whole operation. The guy who bought it from me got burned out after about 10 years.
I did miss the customers from the baler and the trucking. That can be remedied though with a few plates of cookies to pass out and a tank of gas in the car.
Later I went back to trucking just as a hit or miss deal. That was really fun. My driver didn't want to work full time and I didn't want to deal with things that HAD to happen. He only went when the money was real good or it was a place he wanted to go. Made more with less hassle.
May be you can cu your chopping operation down to that kind of scale? | |
