SW OH | I apologize for missing the point of this post. I am no expert on this but feel I don know enough to tell you this. CC permits are valid in any state that shares reciprocity. Every state is different as to how a gun can be carried or what process is required with interaction with a LEO.
There are several websites that have this information. Here's one, click on your state of issue and that will tell you which State honors your permit.

As far as I know CC only applies to hand guns. Long guns in most states must be in open view with the action open and ammunition is to be in a separate compartment that requires exiting the vehicle to put the 2 together. I learned that one the hard way many years ago.
