I guess we all perceive risks differently. Yes I have a spare tire and fire extinguishers. I've needed both numerous times in my life. Haven't yet needed a pistol. I can think of two times where it would have been reasonably justified to draw one if I had one. However, both would have likely required firing it once drawn. Both situations were able to be diffused with bringing deadly force into play.
I have yet to need a pistol or a fire extinguisher but I've go ta fire extinguisher in all vehicles and carry a pistol. Some of us would rather be prepared than victims. |
