We had the same issue last year. Not sure if it was kids or adults? I assume it was adult hunters. Drove though our corn I guess to try to make shooting lanes. I was not happy, probably good they weren’t there when I found it.
This was after replanting the whole field in June because of early flooding and crusting. Then having a couple huge rains after the replant that caused the stand to be thinned out again . And by the end of the summer tar spot took a bunch of bushels away.
