NW VA | I've got an HP dv1000 that I've hardly used for about a year now because it started randomly shutting down, as in cutting off instantly with no warning whatsoever. Sometimes it may run for a couple minutes before killing, sometimes just a couple seconds, sometimes it won't even start at all. Last evening I was lucky enough to get an hr or 2. Reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled XP but didn't solve the problem. Anybody have any ideas or recommendations? TIA
