A .22 to the gut makes them go away and die. Rumor is.
Also rumor is it works on wild horses out west here too! But there becomes a time when you tire of reloading. We have always had some deer, we all love to watch wildlife however there becomes a point when they have exceeded there welcome. Case in point a town 60 miles from us in Utah has been run over by turkeys that were planted by F&G. This winter they had to go trapping them. The turkey crap was getting a little thick in town. My deer herd here went from around 200 head in this winter range, to 700 head in three years just right next to us. Problem is I have federal ground all the way around us. So we become a green oasis in a sea of Sage Brush.
