Paducah, ky
I was thinking clover and a grass like Timothy or orchardgrass would be a good mix for the sod years. My only concern is that alot of times our beans can tend to come off a little late. This year was middle of November when we finished up. What would a guy do in this situation? Spin on some rye and then try to go ahead with frost seeding the grass and legume? Or just force yourself to go with a shorter season bean so you get it off early enough to get things going in the fall?

Another thought is how easy is it to terminate clover and Timothy or orchardgrass when it comes time to plant corn?
