Normally have one or two roosters in my grove, this year have at least a dozen pheasants roosting in my spruce trees in the evening. They are hungry and looking for anything to eat. Couple days ago scared a owl or hawk off a carcass of a rooster by my house. Back in the yard was a mess of feathers then I remembered seeing a bald eagle buzzing around a couple days before that, easy pickings for them.
Any of you guys loaded with snow notice all the pheasants ?
