southern MN | They are picking up gravel and perhaps spilled grain along the roadside shoulders where the plows have managed to scrape the shoulders back from the driving lanes.
There is -no- picking for grass around here! Snow is hip deep or deeper. My cattle gave up trying to get to a round bale I have 700 feet farther away from them in the field, they can’t make it through the snow.
There is a theory the coyotes can’t get to the pheasants this year in the deep snow, bitter cold.
