Guelph Ontario Canada | I like having a separate drive for the OS for the reasons you mentioned. Critical parts of the OS drive are easily backed up on one of the storage drives - which are mirrored on several USB drives that I have. I also have a laptop that mirors itself to the HTPC server so the pile of drive space comes in handy.
Some of the new GPU tech does its best in a 64 bit system so that is the road that I would go down. 2002 was the last time I upgraded my desktop so probably went a bit nuts on this build. | |
