Dodge Co, Wi | Thanks Dave
Ya, not sure yet what exactly I'm going to do. I know that if I upgrade my GPU and keep my current mobo/cpu I can push digital video and audio to my receiver, but I'd only be able to max ram out at about 3GB DDR1 (currently at 1.75GB) so... that has me thinking upgrading mobo/cpu to accomodate DDR2 or 3. And then if I go so far as that I may as well go 64bit.
Did you go with the large OS drive for holding the OS as well as programs (prolong longevity of storage drives) and ease of partitioning?
I'm currently working off of a 40GB WD 7200rpm, I couldn't even fathom filling 3TB worth of A/V files. So I am thinking of going with just one HDD probably velociraptor 250 or 320GB ish, for what I do and for the time being anyways.
