Glad that so far mine are 16.5 ft. heard from the county guy in charge if the field gets put into permanent no-till they only need 5 ft. Hmm... Good luck hunting that, at that time I'll be sure to get a bush mower for "weed control" on the buffer.

Not sure about doing any tillage in the field just that you cannot work up that ground where the buffer is supposed to be. Didn't ask if you could no-till 20 ft. for kicks and giggles and have that 5 ft. apply, way I am going with cropping system changes anyways won't matter.

Would you be able to refuse the "tax relief" and maintain ownership? Might be a cheap alternative in the long run. Plenty of idiots who don't respect crop land while out hunting from cities, they can cause more crop/land damage $ than what the tax $ would be.
