Are you asking about something like a Rapaian Buffer Conservation program?
Are you asking about herbicide buffer programs?
Tell us more?

just trying to be a good steward of the land, here i farm in a relatively table top flat area. drainage ditches bring our water to a river, which leads to the great lakes.
my farms are pattern tile drained but still have the odd little spot that might have a little water that will drain overland.
I just want to try and have a buffer which I have mostly now of about 10 feet wide along the ditches, I take the time to cut with my 60" wide mower but wonder if I should have it wider and with something other than lawn grass that I don't have to cut.
Trying to keep fertilizer out of the drain ditches.
No hunting is allowed in my area so need nothing for that reason. Yes deer are a pain.

thanks for the feed back.
