Subject: RE: Peterbilt clutch linkage?

I had a similar problem on an Astro cabover. Someone previously had put a smaller pin in the linkage (had a cable going to the clutch arm) and the arm did not wear very well. I had enough room to drill, ream, and install a bushing. I didn’t have a second connection point to work with though. Plus when you drill it removes material possibly making the arm weaker and you are traveling way farther from home than I ever did.

If everything is functioning properly my guess is that’s the answer to your question right there.
