I've never had the arm itself wear like that. Most of the time it's cast, not aluminum. All I asked is if anybody could think of a reason why not to use the upper hole. That's all. If I came on here and said my truck won't go into gear, then your answer of the clutch brake would be very useful. Instead, you aren't offering helpful advice, just arrogance.
