I always haul in the AM. The trick to have them filled but not look to full. Top of the market is usually on AM cattle. One buyer says he actually prefers AM cattle (less dark cutters) These buyers think they are pretty good at seeing fill but most are just cattle gatherers. With the ups and downs in the wether lately we've hauled some cattle in were just absolutely stuffed and they sold right along the way they should have.

Another note on dairy fats. Overnight gaunt cattle look less fat/finished.
