Guess I have seen those before, but was thinking they were rated less than 50A. Was thinking only 30A actually. Those will fit in a single gang, but they’re tight on the sides, from what I’ve seen. They make weather proof enclosures for those switches, but they’re not cheap.

Have you thought about making your own enclosure out of a 6”x6”x4” deep, weather proof box, for example? Cut a rectangle in the door (or side of the box) big enough for the body of he switch, but leaving enough to mount he switch with some 6-32 machine screws. Then put your cover over the switch in normal fashion.
