West-Central IL

We have the Nova 3 helmet, filter, conditioner, etc.

Use good equipment if you're going to do it.

We blast outside on a large concrete pad (old barnyard )
We can clean up sand with small loader or skid steer and dump into an empty seed probox to reuse, these work great for lifting with a forklift to fill the pot.
The blasting is easy, it's the sand shoveling crew that has the workout! Make that part as labor simple as possible.

Don't know if you've got a pot yet but the bigger ones need a lot of air. Most guys here use minimum 180cfm diesel compressor.
Ours is a 350cfm with a Detroit.

You can do a lot of things pretty fast but get the right euipment before you start. Especially the right suit.

Edit to add if it's outside in the summer you're going to want to add the cool tube a/c to that helmet. It gets hot in there!
