North west MN | I used to do some sandblasting outside problem is recovering and reusing the sand. You will need a huge capacity air compressor a normal 20 cfm from shop air compressor wont work. I think you would need about a minimum 60 cfm compressor to be able to sandblast without stopping and waiting for air. I used a Miller airpak it has a welder generator and screw air compressor that puts out 60 cfm and that worked pretty good with a small 120# pound pot sandblaster. Sandblasting is a miserable job the dust from the sand is very bad on your health I went to using glass beads made from old beer bottles. There was a company in Fargo north Dakota that would crush beer bottles and sell them for different uses including sandblasting. I would recommend a very good respirator not just a white dust mask. Find out what others charge in the area for sandblasting I found without being able to reuse sand a few times it got expensive
