Subject: RE: Organic Corn & Soybeans Grown in the Upper Mid-West ?

southern MN
I am aware of one organic farm bigger than 10 acres in the bigger neighborhood. I’m sure there are more. I don’t get out much.

There are a fair number of organic producers on this forum, and I don’t want to belittle what they do. Meeting an end users requirements is what we all do, I think a lot of the organic premiums end up getting used up in transportation as your article alludes to. Really not much left for the grower. With limited inputs the organic growers have more struggles.

On the other hand, I struggle with what the goal is with organic, why is is supposed to be better when perhaps it ends up less sustainable and less nutritious. At the least there is room for some different opinion on all that.......
