It seems like a good market for grain producers who currently have prices suppressed by oversupply.

The majority of organic feed grains are imported. American farmers seem to be too busy "feeding the world" to mess with it. Or so goes the commodity group/agribusiness mantra.

USDA publishes organic acres for each state so your questions can be answered. Most of the data is several years old though.

What exactly are you referring to when you mention "huge joke" and "scandal"?
