What do you have for planter drives and monitor?

Using satellite images will be your best bet to create a spatial map to drive a population rx. Then from this ndvi map, ground truth. This should look like what you already know about good zones and bad zones. If these zones are good (or bad) for the same reasons respectively, then soil sample by these good medium and poor zones.

Then for seed rates i would put your avg rate in the medium zone, then maybe increase that rate by 10-20% for the good zones and reduce rates 20-30% on the poor zones. See how that goes. Maybe plant a flat rate strip a few times to comepare. If your able you could put pairs of learning blocks in each zone. Raise rates 10-15% in one block and lower rates 10-15% in the other. Watch these blocks or strips throughout the year and make adjustments for next year.
