Our corn last year averaged 213 BPA dry across the scales. We have shelled 259BPA in a yield check, planted by our Cyclo. Yes, there is some yield drag because of poor spacing. I think it is minimal. But, any yield drag is offset by even emergence and reduced sidewall compaction. My thoughts are that even emergence and reduced sidewall compaction are more important by a factor of 10 than perfect spacing in notill.
I will add that we look at ROI very closely.
