We like the banding from strip till. Would like to convert to no till or be able to band dry with planter for one pass. Froze to early last fall to get fertilizer in the ground. Been in a drought past few years is another reason. CSP says we need to get our pho’s in the ground... dad wants to run over everything with a case turbo till. Any words of wisdom or knowledge on how to work around it

You sound just like us, didn't get strips done last fall. I've spring strip tilled with mole knives and it works great as long as you have enough time to get done. I tossed around the idea of running our Turbo Till over the bean stubble like your dad. But in the end I think 2x2 starter on the planter will do the trick. I don't currently have starter but I still think it makes sense.
