SW Ontario | We have been doing what your dad suggests the last 5 years with broadcast fertilizer and having poor results on our sand. Went to an air cart with planter in 2018 and applied same amount of fert 2x2. Never had such a beautiful crop as this year and did a fair bit of no till.
