I agree with garvo using home grown feeds is best for feedlot and grain side.
I tried the selling corn replacing with by products. Quickly realized only one making out was brokers and truckers. Got tired of being on the phone sourcing product, telling truckers where to go, wondering if truck made it overnight etc. If utilizing own trucks with back hauls could change things. I also realized I was alot better selling cattle than corn.
Understand if other family are involved and separating things can get messy. Just hope you are selling the grain side the manure.
