I had 4 shut offs on a 12 row White planter with the shutoff switches on the dash of my tractor, saved a lot of seed and low to no yield crops where double planted, also the 3 section GP drill had the ability to raise 10 ft sections for point rows, if I was still farming point row shut offs would be the first option.
who can calculate how much seed you save with shutoffs?
