| Great post and I'm glad you able realize how special this is.
I work with my son, he is 28 and I'm 58, and we work very well together. He has an off-farm job as well as some ground of his own but is always ready and willing to work here. I can only recall one time last year when things got a little heated and some sharp words were said. But, a few hours later apologies were given by both of us and we moved forward. Working with him and teaching him along the way has made this phase of my farming career much more enjoyable.
Reading the Working for free thread and the many replies of guys who had a similar experience with their families made me realize how blessed I was to have had the relationship I had with my dad and to have the relationship I now have with my son. | |
