Northwest Iowa | I'd agree with getting cabinets locally from a good builder. We like the vinyl floor we put in. As one guy noted, "laminate is always cold". Tend to agree. Vinyl cleans up easy. Ifyou go with tile, think about putting heat in the floor. Countertops can vary a lot as well. Consider lighting changes as well. One of the best things we did was to upgrade with some recessed lights over the work areas. Also think about new appliances while you are at it. We added a fridge with water in the door. Really like that. If you do a lot of the work yourself, you might get by for around 10-15,000. Huge amount of variables here. Probably better get started so you can get done by spring! | |
