Nw Iowa | Amen to above post , want to slow down but never quit. I think along with that is letting go of day to day stuff and let a younger person who is capable take over at what they are good at and try to give advice but don’t criticize. I guess I look at my gray years as a training mission not as a dictator. While working with a large family can be trying at times, it has also been rewarding when the younger generation slowly takes over different parts of operation and make it better. It is nice to not be last man out the door every night but look around at guys and say good night I am going home (well sometimes)
Do agree though that someday is today. But my goal is not to just get caught up in my own little world and own wants and needs but be able to contribute to the world around me wether it be to family or community or church and give back. | |
