NEMO | How much of the cost in a $80,000 truck is REALLY caused by the "labor unions"? Could you show us some hard facts on your assertions? I mean, if it costs $85/hr for union workers to build a $80,000 truck, how many man hours is charged to the assembly? How do you account for the price and man hours in the assembly process for all the out sourced parts in the $80,000 work truck? We all know a bunch of those parts are made no where close to the assembly plants and most of those plants use non-union labor, whether in the US or not. Also, if it costs the auto manufacturer so ridiculously much for assembly, why haven't they out sourced that also? |
