Subject: RE: Land prices

I would sayone thing that is different here from what i noticed in Iowa when i was talking to some people is thatthere are alot of coops or custom hire guys to spray or do whatever. Here you pretty much need to run big equipment and have your own. Plant earlyand fast and to do so you have to run alot of acres.

But then agian maybe old 6 row stuff is cheap enough and fuel.savings it could work out for a part of your whole farming, maybe do other aspects of farming as well?
I do not row crop, always seems like making 1-200 dollars profit per acre is marginal for the inputs required but the longer i farm i find that if thw insurance and goverment backing really helps. But then agian you will never knock it out of the park either.
