South Central Iowa | Yeah, for the 70 csr classes of soils, $7,000 should have caught the bid currently. There have been many farms go for that all over the state. The investor class is typically not interested in auctions; they like buying agents and lower commissions. They usually get it because of the eight digit sums they bring to purchase. It seems very poor on Farmer's National's part not to even get a reasonable bid on a solid farm. I'd be pretty upset with paying them much of anything for that performance. | |
