Sounds cheap, the 4 parcels of land that were auctioned off in this area in the last week sold for
$14,200 x 80 If you can call it a deal, this was the best deal of the land sold this past week.

The top three were all bought by neighboring farmers, I'm not sure who bought the last one.
Seems like the key phase here is "bought by neighboring farmers". If you have adjoining, paid-for land, what is so surprising about being willing to pay whatever it takes to get that adjacent land - and mentally spread the cost over your adjoining paid-for acres?
