Sunburst Montana | We have several 1,000 gal fuel tanks that used to be our primary fuel tanks and they were mounted high enough to gravity feed into a fuel tank on the field pickup. On more then one occasion grandpa would start filling the pickup tank and go off and do something else because it took awhile to fill with the small nozzle. And then he would forget what he was doing and eventually we’d have 500 gal or more of diesel fuel all over the yard. What finally ended that was buying a 10,000 gal vertical tank and an electric pump that only took a few minutes to fill the pickup tank so you didn’t have time to wonder off.
