So what I need for a basic set up, like a sprayer, is a display connecting to module by wire harness, and then sensors/actuators/controllers/ etc connecting to the module by a series of harness?

Are the displays interchangable between functions? Can I use the display for both my combine and planter?

everything is interchangeable. i only have one display and antenna and just move it between tractor, sprayer, and combine. You will have to setup each machine electronically in the display but that is not a big deal.

It alot like a computer network. Gps tells the monitor the location, the monitor then sends a singal to the modual on what it wants to do and when, the module then controls the valves as directed and sends a signal back to the monitor of flow rate. The monitor then calculates the flow rate with gps and sends new valve commands back to the module.

Basic set up for a sprayer and have it control , you will need:
display, gps, liquid product module, flow meter, control valve, atleast 1 boom valve, and all the wiring for it.
