Nw Iowa | I see a lot of older people ( late 70's and 80's) buying land. Some view it as estate planning, others as just a better investment than cd's. Some want estate tied up in land so sil or dil wont get a bunch of cash to spend. ( may or may not work) Others are getting bought out of other family land and want to keep it in land. Others have just waited a lifetime for the " farm " to come up for sale. And of course family member that wants to farm. Just alot of reasons to purchase land. | |
