southern MN | 8.x was a tablet operating system, I'm sure it worked well on tablets. Was terrible on a real computer with a mouse. Ugh.
Microsoft went off the deep end when anyone their thought their 'ribbons' were a good idea. I haven't enjoyed a word processor of theirs since.
W10 seemed good, but it is built in with such constant change and imbedded spam that I wish I had stayed with W7 any more. There is zero stability for the user experience. I spend more time waiting for upgrades to finish, and then resetting defaults, after getting used to the new look. Blah.
My favorite computer is 3 years old, W7, never been hooked to the internet. Screaming fast without all the junk the internet puts on a system.
