We did program in a position and height as we are also using it for construction survey work for irrigation but if you are only using it for steering you don't need to do this. You can also use the " set from average" function on the base and leave it to average its position over 24/48 hours - we do this on remote fields and just average it for 5 min to use for rtk level steering using CFx or FMx screens.
Surveying in is really only required if you want absolute accuracy relevant to other heights that other people have surveyed so for yourself on your own farm you don't need it and would work on your own local grid relevant only to you. |
